Behind the Scenes: Creating the viral Sunday Riley Body Butter Video
Every video shoot has its own energy, but this one for Sunday Riley’s new body butter launch was something special. With 30 dancers, a vibrant flashmob-style performance, and a brand that embodies luxury and self-care, we set out to create a film that was equal parts dynamic, engaging, and visually stunning.

The Concept
The brief was clear: capture the essence of movement, joy, and confidence that comes from using Sunday Riley’s body butter. The client envisioned a high-energy performance where the dancers seamlessly interacted with the product, showing off its luxurious texture and glow-enhancing properties in a natural yet artistic way.

The Shoot
On the day of the shoot, energy was high. We used a mix of handheld, gimbal, and drone shots to bring variety to the visuals. The drone allowed us to get th top-down shots, adding aunique perspective to the movement, while the Sony A7S III and A7 IV cameras captured rich, detailed beauty shots. In post, we dialled up the warm tones to complement the golden hues of the body butter itself.

Post-Production & Editing
We edited this in around 5h post shoot. The editing was all about rhythm and we carefully synced the visuals with the music to maintain the energy and flow of the dancers. Subtle product highlights were integrated seamlessly, ensuring the focus remained on the experience rather than a hard sell.

The Final Result
The final video encapsulates everything we aimed for: a celebration of movement, beauty, and self-care. The dancers brought the energy, the visuals brought the polish, and Sunday Riley’s body butter shone as the hero of the piece.
